Caffeine
Caffeine really fuels the metabolism. It has been proven that caffeine increases the metabolism of fats. Food and body fat is split into individual components and used for the body’s energy supply. The alkaloid caffeine also increases heat production in the body and the blood pressure and thus gets the metabolism going. In addition, it promotes the release of catecholamines, which also increase fat loss when resting. Caffeine makes the brain and body fitter. It's a substance that can lead to an increase in performance, as study-supervised memory tests at Johns Hopkins University showed. We owe this to our central nervous system. Caffeine stimulates and enhances our attention, responsiveness, delaying tiredness and fatigue longer.
