Vitamin K

Vitamin K supports bone growth and slows down bone loss at the same time by supporting the incorporation of calcium into the bone structure and the activity of the bone-forming cells. Vitamin K thus reduces the risk of or the progress of osteoporosis. The human body needs vitamin K, this is the only way blood clotting can work. A vitamin K deficiency inhibits blood clotting, which can result in increased bleeding. This can only be prevented by an adequate supply of vitamin K. Interestingly, if too much vitamin K is taken, the opposite does not occur, the body can make optimal use of vitamin K and keep blood coagulation in balance.
  • Bone building support
  • Balance in blood clotting
