Choline bitartrate

Choline is a vitamin-like substance that performs many functions in the body. These include the metabolism of fats in the liver. Choline transports the fatty acids (triglycerides) from the liver to the places where it is needed in the body. If there is a choline deficiency, more fat is stored in the liver because this metabolic process malfunctions. A high-fat liver ("fatty liver") can only detoxify the body to a limited extent, as liver functions are limited. Choline is not only found in the fat metabolism of the liver, but is also part of the nerve fibres and messengers.
